Today we finish up our series on Kitchen Reno’s with some advice on tile backsplashes. We chat about the best tile sizes to use, whether or not to run your countertop up the wall, and all our favorite options as far as tile style goes.
We also talk a little about modesty and not just in the sense of how we dress. We’re talking about a modest heart posture, one that doesn’t seek to bring glory and attention to itself, but rather to God. We focus on asking ourselves some questions to help get to the heart of our own issues. Our hope is get both our eyes and hearts {and maybe even our wardrobes} pointing back to the God we love…not towards ourselves.
Thanks so much for listening!

But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ–the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. (Phillipians 3:7-9 NIV)
