by design episode #20: Joanna Ivey – Adoption Story (part 2)

This week we get to hear Part 2 of Joanna Ivey’s ah-mazing adoption story. Joanna shares all about the few unbelievable days she spent in the hospital with the birth mom and how God orchestrated the details in a crazy-beautiful way. She also shares her heart for adoption and specifically why they chose to adopt { and seriously, hearing her tell this part of the story left us in tears }.

We also talk about Project Free 2 Fly, a non profit in Cleveland, TN, where Joanna works as the Creative Director. We get to hear all about her sewing, their products, and the women they employ and mentor. This organization is inspiring in so many ways, and honestly, they make the most beautiful products.
