Today we get to talk with one of our favorite ladies! Shannon Courtaney has mentored Lyn in SO many ways over the years and has always pointed her to truth both in her words and by modeling it in her own life. She’s a mom to four sweet kids and is someone who many of us look to for wisdom and encouragement in our little community here in Valparaiso, Indiana. Shannon and her husband Brad are not the perfect parents by any means, but we believe they have been gifted with grace and wisdom, and we are excited to share some of what they’ve learned over the years with our listeners.
We chat with Shannon about what it looks like to be intentional as parents, keeping the end goal in mind. We all want our kids to succeed, to get jobs and be good human beings with hearts for the Lord, right? Shannon gives us some practical insight and tips for moms of all ages and leaves us feeling like we can actually do this thing called parenting, and do it well.
